Starting fresh

These first days of January are kinda like holding a crisp, brand new $100.00 bill. Like that new bill, the new year is loaded with potential. How will we spend it?
Currently in church I am covering 6 basic essentials to our Christian faith. Last Sunday we looked at why church attendance is important, why tithing is essential and the importance of prayer. This Sunday we’ll look at the importance of Bible reading/personal time with God, home fellowships/small groups and sharing our faith. Besides spending time with our families, I can't think of a better way to spend the new year. It is my prayer that all of us will grow deeper in our faith, deeper in love with God and continue to have a love for those we know who are not Christians yet.
Any new years resolutions you would like to share?

Evan, Happy New Year!

I am looking forward to a new year of connecting with my family, becoming more involved in my community, and spending time on reflection.

I have no resolutions, but hope to practice on my patience and become more physically active.
